HARTING smartPN-Units

HARTING will be presenting its smart Power Networks system as an active energy management system at the Hannover Messe 2012 trade fair.

The smartPN-Units are integrated into a virtual industrial environment for the fair in order to demonstrate non –production times and their optimal management for saving energy, along with other features. The application consequently goes beyond classic energy management because it intervenes directly in the process.
HARTING will also be presenting an interface to an energy management system that allows energy consumption data and characteristics to be visualized on a 15 minute basis. The HARTING smartPN-Units are integrated with a data interface. It shows energy management systems can easily be integrated into the smart Power Networks system.

The smart Power Networks products are expected to be available as standard products Q1/ 2013.
