FFE Launch New Multi Head FireRay 5000

Fire Fighting Enterprises announce that the new Multi Head FireRay 5000 will be on show at Stand E30 in Hall 3 of International Firex 2009. This innovation allows up to 4 beam detectors to be installed as one system, with only one control unit for all 4 heads. This can give potentially great savings to both time and cost for installation, wiring, and power supply.

On each day of the event the team from FFE will also be running several short presentations at the stand, introducing visitors both to the principles of beam detection in general and the latest technological developments in the field - namely the Multi Head FireRay 5000. All the features of the standard FireRay 5000 are incorporated, such as automatic, motorised alignment and optimisation, and now the Multi Head enables up to 4 beam heads to be spaced out or oriented to cover unorthodox-shaped areas.

Each beam will also often be used to cover a distance less than the maximum 100m, requiring the use of multiple heads for efficient area coverage. The development of the Multi Head builds on the success of the basic FireRay 5000, which is the first and only motorised beam detector to be certified by the LPCB (UK), UL (USA), and ULC (Canada), as well as NF (France), VdS (Germany), BOSEC (Belgium), SBSC (Sweden), and recently KFI (South Korea) and CNTC (China).
