Richard Noble, the former land-speed record holder and driving force behind The Bloodhound SSC project, will open the 2009 National Electronics Week exhibition on 16 June at London's Earls Court. Noble will cut a ribbon and declare the show open to visitors at 10.00am at the front of the event's venue. He will then present a keynote speech.
Noble is keen to ignite young people's interest in maths, science and engineering in the most exciting way possible, and cites this as the philosophy behind his latest land-speed record project, The Bloodhound SSC. The project will generate cutting-edge research that will have far reaching benefits across the science and engineering industries.
