Torqueleader Helps Morgan Achieve ISO Approval

At the end of 2008, Morgan Motor Company gained ISO 9001 approval assisted through the installation of a Torqueleader supplied torque analyser. Morgan currently has an 18 month order book. All cars are made to order with 90 per cent being exported - many to Europe, especially Germany and France.

At present they are making around 650 cars a year and have seven different models, prices ranging from roughly GBP25 - GBP100k. The classic cars have a wooden body fixed to steel chassis, the body panels are aluminium and the Aero 8 and Aeromax are fixed to a bonded aluminium chassis. The smaller engines starting at 1.6 litre from Ford up to the larger 4.8 litre V8 engines from BMW are in the Aero 8 and Aeromax models.
