Tandy Trower, a general manager and founder of the robotics initiative at Microsoft, will deliver the keynote session on the first morning of the 6th Annual Robobusiness Conference and Exposition, which takes place on 15-16 April 2009 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Robobusiness is an international business development event for the personal, service and mobile robotics industry. Tandy Trower's presentation, 'Personal Robotics: Getting Some Perspective', will focus specifically on the most compelling opportunities within the personal robotics market. Trower said: 'There have been many opportunistic projections about the personal robotics market and, while progress is being made, there has been very limited delivery of actual products.
'Robobusiness provides a great opportunity for the international robotics and business communities to discuss the most important and compelling robotics markets and opportunities and the technical and business challenges that must be overcome to bring systems to market.' The Robobusiness Conference and Exposition features companies with emerging robotics and intelligent systems technologies.
