Stannah Lift Group Is a RoSPA Award Winner
RoSPA Awards Manager said that Stannah Lifts Group of Companies has shown a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its employees and others. The Stannah Lifts Group of Companies, whose head office is in Andover, Hampshire, is celebrating winning one of the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards in 2009.
The Gold award will be presented at a ceremony at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel, at the National Exhibition Centre, on Tuesday 12 May. The ceremony will take place alongside Safety and Health Expo 2009 - Europe's leading annual health and safety exhibition. The RoSPA Awards are not just about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; they help to ensure that organisations have good health and safety management systems in place. The majority of awards are non-competitive and mark achievement which is graded at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels. Organisations maintaining high standards can win gold medals, President's Awards and Orders of Distinction.
