Radiall Launches Co-Axial Connectors For Studios
Radiall has introduced its BNC 75ohm HDTV co-axial connector series, which can handle data rates up to 3Gbps or higher while supporting the broadcast industry's SMPTE 292M and 424M standards. These connectors feature gold-plated centre and outer contacts, which provide good electrical performance with a frequency range of up to 6GHz, optimised at 3GHz.
In addition, they are intermateable with standard 50ohm and 75ohm BNC products, and offer better mechanical performance and durability, with 1,000 mating cycles guaranteed. Connectors are also field-installable on most co-axial cables using hand-crimping tools and coloured cable boots available for easy coding of video signals.
Radiall's BNC 75ohm HDTV co-axial connector series, high-frequency F connectors, high-density DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors, fibre-optic systems and other interconnect solutions have been developed for use in broadcast studios and broadcast transmission systems such as cameras, video recorders, routers, switching, monitoring and signal measurement and control systems.
