Carlo Gavazzi Offers Variflex2 Series Of AC Drives
Carlo Gavazzi has launched a range of AC drives to deliver optimum speed control and improve efficiency in a range of industrial motor applications. The Variflex2 series comprises a basic and an advanced version, both offering a complete set of features as well as the options normally found on larger drives. The Variflex2 RVEF series is suitable for basic low-power motor-control applications, such as for pumps and fans that can be installed side by side, thus saving cabinet space. The Variflex2 RVCF series is for more complex applications that require constant torque, including conveyors. According to the company, both versions offer simple installation with the option for DIN-rail or panel mounting and ease of use with comprehensive menus via software and push-button setup. The range of drives offers variable speeds from 0.20kW to 55.0kW, single-phase input of 110VAC/230VAC and up to three-phase 230VAC/480VAC.
