Stemmer Releases Dalsa Piranha ES Linescan Cameras

Stemmer Imaging's Dalsa Piranha ES (Extended Sensitivity) linescan cameras feature time delay and integration (TDI). The cameras combine speed, resolution and sensitivity to low-light applications. The ES series bridges the sensitivity gap between single-line cameras and the highest sensitivity Piranha HS series. With up to 32 TDI stages and up to 8k resolution, the Piranha ES cameras open new possibilities for high-performance cost-sensitive inspection. The Piranha ES series is up to 30-times more responsive than traditional linescan cameras with up to 110kHz line rate (4k80). Configurable Base or Medium (4k) or Medium or Full (8k) Camera Link interfaces are available. An area mode of operation facilitates camera set-up by allowing the possibility of focusing on a larger imaging area, which can also be used as a regular mode of operation. Stemmer Enhances Common Vision Blox Stemmer Imaging has announced Version 10.1 of the Common Vision Blox (CVB) programming library. New tools in Version 10.1 include CVB GigE Vision Server for standardised remote imaging, CVB Match 3D for demanding 3D surface inspection and the CVB GPU Processing tool, which offers image processing acceleration. CVB GigE Vision Server allows a suitably equipped computer to be used as both an image receiver and as an image source. It acts like a GigE Vision compliant image source with configurable features. CVB GigE Vision Server opens up a range of opportunities including full application remote control, distributed pre-processing and computing, or multicast transfers to multiple monitoring stations. CVB Match 3D offers a practical approach for 3D imaging, providing high accuracy and a processing speed fast enough to keep track with modern production lines.
