D-Tec, leader in CCTV camera-based video smoke detection, is a finalist in the Fire Excellence Awards, run in conjunction with the International Firex and Fire and Rescue exhibitions. The company has been shortlisted in the key Export Innovation category for its successful deployment of VSD, which analyses images to provide an early warning of fire, in a growing number of tunnel projects worldwide.
