REHAU Products Feature In Low Carbon House
REHAU was a key partner in the opening of the first affordable, low energy, low carbon house designed for the mass market. The house has been built at South Lanarkshire College and was officially opened by John Swinney, cabinet secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth in the Scottish parliament. Scottish Ministers hope that the house's micro-renewable and energy saving features will be used as a prototype for housing developers. REHAU has supplied a complete range of sustainable products for the project including its Raugeo ground source energy probes, Awadukt Thermo ground air heat exchanger, underfloor heating, Everloc leak-free plumbing pipework system, Raurain rainwater harvesting system, Raupiano sound insulated waste pipe and energy efficient PVC-U windows and doors.
