Optitex Presents Textile Industry Webinars Optitex will host a series of webinars for current users of CAD software and other parties interested in the fashion and textile industry. The webinars provide an opportunity for anyone interested in the latest CAD technology and the many ways it can streamline workflow. The webinars will provide information for those in the fashion and textile industry looking to increase profits during pre- and post-production phases. Participants will be provided with knowledge to enhance speed, accuracy and fit when working with CAD software. Participants can review topics such as 3D design and fit, nesting, marking and animation, while acquiring tips to maximise the usage of their current software. Optitex specialists will lead the series of webinars from 28 October 2009 until 24 March 2010.
Emka Presents 1100 Swing Handle Range The Emka 1100 series of swing handles is designed to meet the needs of specialist panel builders in the UK. The range provides a structured set of key options, a small number of fixing hole formats and is designed to ease the interchange of most application components between different models, such as rod systems, cams, cylinders and key options, to suit the needs of equipment manufacturers and installers. 1100 handles have now been developed for operation as part of Emka's electronic lock system. In addition, the 1154 type has been introduced as a vandal-resistant handle in die-cast and stainless steel. Both variants are recessed into the cabinet for additional security. There are now five visually different groupings to suit varying cabinet styles. The front protrusion when closed has been further reduced to 9mm.
