PCB Introduces High-Temperature Accelerometer PCB Piezotronics has announced the Model 357C90 high-temperature, hermetically sealed accelerometer for engine turbine testing during flight test or in ground-based test cells. Other applications include environmental chamber testing or exhaust system vibration measurements on rocket or automotive engines up to 1,200F (649C). The charge output unit features a high-temperature Inconel construction, sensitivity of 5pC/g, measuring range to 1,000G peak, frequency response of 2.5kHz, and resonant frequency of more than 14kHz. The unit is supplied with an integral 10ft (3m) high-temperature connecting cable and can be mounted via a through-hole 1/4-28 thread bolt. Additional products are available from PCB to complete the measurement system, such as Airborne amplifier Model 422M201 or in-line charge amplifier Series 422E30, as well as a supporting range of Series 482 ICP power supplies. Model 357C90 is backed by the Lifetime Warranty Plus provi...

CST Unveils PCB Studio Power Integrity Solver Computer Simulation Technology (CST) introduced the PCB Studio solver module for power integrity analysis at the Design Automation Conference (DAC) in San Francisco, which runs until 31 July. According to the company, which can be found in Booth 3155, engineers working on the design of power delivery networks will benefit from CST's latest addition to CST Studio Suite. The CST PCB Studio power integrity solver, based on a special 3D FEM approach, helps calculate accurate impedance profiles within a full 3D simulation but in a fraction of the time required by traditional 3D solvers. The PI solver is tightly integrated in the CST design environment and shares the same usability features as the other CST Studio Suite solver modules. It can be integrated in various workflows through a set of high-quality interfaces, which can be used to create 3D models automatically from layout data, including various lumped components. Engineers wil...

Wago 2716 Series high-current PCB-mount terminal block features a lever-actuated termination design for tool-free termination of conductors 24 - 6 AWG. The integrated lever minimises operator strain and wiring times while reducing torque exerted on PCBs. To operate, simply lift the lever, insert a stripped conductor, then lower the lever. The spring pressure cage clamp assures that terminations are maintenance free and gas tight, as well as resistant to vibration and temperature cycling. There are no screw torque requirements to be concerned with, making the 2716 an ideal PCB terminal block for field wired installations. Standard 2716 Series configurations include 10mm (55A/600V) or 15mm (65A/600V) pitch variants, ranging from two to eight-pole configurations. Additional pole configurations, as well as a 20mm pitch variant, are available upon request. The 2716 Series PCB terminal block is available with or without a jumper slot. An integrated test port allows probe access with di...
