Kavlico Unveils Sensors For Hydraulic Applications

Kavlico has introduced a suite of sensors designed to perform in a wide variety of hydraulic applications. Capable of operating for millions of pressure cycles, these low power consumption pressure sensors provide an accurate, reliable and stable signal over many years of operation in the harshest environments. The high overpressure capability of Kavlico sensors for fluid power applications is designed to withstand the pressure fluctuations associated with these applications. These rugged devices have stainless steel housings and can be configured with a broad selection of process and electrical connectors to fit the specification criteria for each application. Operating on 5V DC, the sensors provide a 0.5 to 4.5 linear amplified output proportional to pressure. Pressure ranges are available up to 6,000lb/in2. Typical pressure sensor applications include: on- and off-highway vehicle hydraulic systems; trenching machines; pressurised tools; adaptive suspension systems; material te...
Tentec Releases Hydraulic Bolt Tensioning Tools Tentec has brought out the Aero Model WTF range of hydraulic bolt tensioning tools for wind turbines, with 25mm piston/ram capability for one-pull uninterrupted tensioning. These tools can be supplied to suit different thread forms, such as Williams and Dyson threaded bars and ISO metric and Imperial Unified Thread forms. As the amount of thread protruding can vary between turbines, the tensioning tool has been designed to work in two different ways. When there is long stud protrusion from the foundation hexagon nut, a spare nut can be used on top of the Aero WTF tensioner, whereas with a short stud protrusion, an extended length puller can be used. This reaches down inside the tensioner to grip on to the short stud protrusion. Other features include the gear nut run-down mechanism, which offers a rapid and consistent method to seat the foundation hexagon nuts during the tensioning procedure. All WTF tensioners are fitted with a spring me...
