BFi OPTiLAS Offers Avigilon High Resolution Lens

BFi OPTiLAS has extended its Avigilon lossless mega pixel camera range with a high resolution mega pixel aspherical IR corrected lens. The compact mega pixel rated lens boasts a resolution of more than three mega pixel as well as low distortion, flat optics for sharp focus across the whole image and great contrast. The lens is suitable for any 1/4inch and 1/2inch mega pixel camera with auto iris control. Its low light capabilities and IR correction mean it is a versatile lens suitable for all security applications. Focal lengths are available in 4.5-10mm and 10-40mm, each with nine piece multi-coated glass optics and compact design for bodied cameras and most dome housings. BFI OPTiLAS maintains high standards in product selection and this lens is sure to impress all with its aluminium body, anodized finish and stainless steel camera mount.
PCB Introduces High-Temperature Accelerometer PCB Piezotronics has announced the Model 357C90 high-temperature, hermetically sealed accelerometer for engine turbine testing during flight test or in ground-based test cells. Other applications include environmental chamber testing or exhaust system vibration measurements on rocket or automotive engines up to 1,200F (649C). The charge output unit features a high-temperature Inconel construction, sensitivity of 5pC/g, measuring range to 1,000G peak, frequency response of 2.5kHz, and resonant frequency of more than 14kHz. The unit is supplied with an integral 10ft (3m) high-temperature connecting cable and can be mounted via a through-hole 1/4-28 thread bolt. Additional products are available from PCB to complete the measurement system, such as Airborne amplifier Model 422M201 or in-line charge amplifier Series 422E30, as well as a supporting range of Series 482 ICP power supplies. Model 357C90 is backed by the Lifetime Warranty Plus provi...
Marktech Launches High-Purity InP Wafers Marktech Optoelectronics, in collaboration with Optrans, has introduced high-purity, high-speed InP wafers. The Optrans research and development team has developed a MOCVD process that produces multiple 4in wafers simultaneously, significantly reducing the processing time required to grow InP wafers. The Closed Coupled Showerhead (CCS) technology used in Optrans' MOCVD reactors results in increased production capacities and greater cost savings. InP material provides high operating speeds, low noise, low voltage and high reliability, and is used in photonic and electronic applications. Typical photonic device types include: lasers, photo detectors, avalanche photo diodes, optical modulators and amplifiers, waveguide-based devices, quantum photonic devices, optoelectronic and photonic integrated circuits, as well as devices for optical communications, switching, networking, signal processing and material for solar cells. InP-based High ...
Sharp Announces High Colour Rendering LEDs Sharp is expanding its LED portfolio with eight white light high colour rendering SMD LEDs in the frequently used PLCC2 package. The high CRI (colour rendering index ) value of 80 is reached by a combination of a blue LED die covered with a special mixture of green and red phosphor. The chip LEDs of the GM5SAExxP0A series, from the E-Series, ensure natural colours and true to detail images. This is important where artificial light may not hinder the depiction of the illuminated objects. Typical applications for high colour rendering (HCR) LEDs are in photography, shop windows and store decorations as well as product presentation. They also find uses in medical lighting; for example, in surgery lamps. The E-Series covers a wide spectrum of colour temperatures, beginning with warm white LEDs in the area of 2,700K to the cold white LEDs of 6,500K. Combining high CRI values and a light efficiency of up to 90lm/W (depending on model), the HCR...
Cutting Head Suits High-Pressure Applications The Active Autoline Pro abrasive cutting head from KMT Waterjet Systems has been specifically designed for waterjet cutting with 6,200 bar pressures. Its design and materials of construction can withstand large forces while focusing the energy to the cutting jet. According to KMT, the features of Active Autoline Pro cutting heads include automatic precision alignment, repetition accuracy, high cutting speeds, long service life and easy maintenance. It takes a few seconds to replace the few wear parts of the head, such as the water nozzle, mixing chamber and focusing tube - and no tools are required. In order to keep routine maintenance to a minimum, these components are made from tough wear-proof materials and are part of the company's PSC (Precision System Components) range, which includes all the installation parts required to feed the high pressure from the pump to the connected cutting stations. PSC parts have been specificall...
Chronos Offers High-Speed Bagging Range The Chrono-Fill PTK, a very fast bagging line for pre-made open-mouth bags, is now available from Chronos Richardson. The PTK range offers high-speed bagging at rates of up to 40 bags/min and features a modular design form. Packing speeds of up to 1,500 bags per hour are available with the PTK-1700 series; while the dual spout system on the PTK-2700 offers capacities of up to 2,400 bags per hour. This bagging system can be deployed for any pre-made open-mouth (pillow or gusseted) bags made of paper, plastic or woven polypropylene. The result is a system for bulk material bagging of food, animal feed and pet foods, as well as materials from the chemical and construction materials industries. PTK bag-filling systems achieve high hygienic standards through the use of field-proven technologies for continuous reliable bag transfer. They also feature a bag-separating system and are designed for quick change-over to accommodate different bag dimen...
GAO Tek Unveils High-Stability Light Sources GAO Tek has introduced the GAO3100 series of light sources, with highly stable output power and wavelengths. This series is ideal for simulating various conditions in the manufacture, testing and maintenance of passive optical components. These light sources conduct high-efficiency testing by using high-accuracy automatic power control (APC) and automatic temperature control (ATC) techniques. They can deliver one to three wavelengths specified by the user, and optical laser types are also available. They provide adjustable optical output power and two communication ports: RS485 and RS232.
