Johnson Tiles Introduces Its Porcelain Floor Range Johnson Tiles introduces the Echo range of sustainable porcelain floor tiles, the latest addition to the Absolute range of premier floor and wall tiles from the company. The Echo range include raw material waste resulting from the tile manufacturing processes. The new tiles contain a minimum of 40 per cent of recycled material within the tile body. The manufacturing processes have been designed to reduce the impact on the environment by using recycled water, reducing energy usage and cutting kiln emissions. Echo unglazed tiles are available in five natural colours, three large format sizes and two finishes; natural and lapato. Skirting finishes are also available in all colours.
Thermo-Floor Offers Underfloor Heating And Cooling Thermo-Floor has completed an installation for Vinci Construction that provides heating or cooling at Luton Sixth Form College. Neil Evans, general manager of Thermo-Floor, said: "Aside from energy efficiency gains, underfloor heating and cooling systems provide a healthier environment because of a more even and regulated temperature. For a college or school this is paramount as the working environment has a massive impact on the effective learning time".
