Presspart To Exhibit Deep-Drawn Metal Components Presspart will be showcasing its latest deep-drawn metal components on stand D3 at the International Subcontract Manufacturing Show, Subcon 2010, to be held in Birmingham, UK, from 8-10 June. Presspart is a specialist supplier of metal precision parts for a wide variety of industries and applications - from electronics to utilities, heating and ventilation. Objet Geometries To Exhibit Connex350 3D Printer Objet Geometries will showcase its latest 3D printer, the Connex350, at two customer events in France in March. Illustrating the benefits of high-performance rapid-prototyping technology, the 'A vitesse grand V' events will be hosted at Le Mans 24-hour circuit (9 March) and Actua GT Driving (11 March) in Lyon. The Connex350 maintains the Connex range's ability to produce 3D models by simultaneously printing multiple materials with different mechanical and physical properties. Festo To Exhibit Controllers And Actuators At IWEX 2009, Festo will be demonstrating how its latest modular controllers and actuators enable system designers to use a blend of electrical and pneumatic technology to help minimise costs. The latest additions to Festo's CPX series of multifunctional electrical terminals will be on show, including: an Ethercat real-time Ethernet communications module; a series of digital and analogue I/O modules; and an intelligent control module known as the CPX-CMXX, which provides a PLC-compatible interface for multidimensional axis control. Festo will also be launching a quarter-turn pneumatic actuator at IWEX 2009. The actuator uses rack-and-pinion drive technology and incorporates features such as adjustable end positions, which makes it suitable for use with butterfly valves.

Borealis To Exhibit Materials & Components Borealis will showcase advanced aesthetics, organoleptics, faster production and energy and weight-reducing advantages at Plast '09 (Pavilion 20, Stand B24) on 24-28 March. During the tri-annual event in Milan, Borealis, a provider of value-creating plastics solutions, will demonstrate the performance and processing benefits offered by the latest film and moulding grade additions to its ranges of polyolefins for the pharmaceutical, food-packaging and white-goods industries.
