Araldite 2000 Plus Adhesives Get New Additions Huntsman Advanced Materials has announced additions to the Araldite 2000 Plus range, including polyurethane adhesives and a methacrylate adhesive that requires minimal surface treatment. Araldite 2028 polyurethane adhesive is transparent and UV stable, as well as flexible and fast curing. The adhesive bonds a wide variety of plastics including polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and polycarbonate (PC) and is tailor-made for sign bonding and seismic cables as well as general industrial applications. Araldite 2029 polyurethane adhesive has good gap-filling properties and high flexibility. The adhesive bonds copper and brass to composite and metals. Suitable for larger components where there is a need for longer open time, it is designed for the transport market as well as for multipurpose systems for thermoplastic and composite bonding and the general industrial market.
