Now with IO-Link Interface

The LV463 fiber optic amplifier has been equipped with an IO-Link interface.

With the new interface option, now the settings can be made directly through the control, i.e. without having to manually actuate the slide switch. This pertains to the three different teach modes and settings for the range, sensitivity and time functions. The signal value, and at the same time the switching threshold, are shown on two easy-to-read displays.

The LV463 amplifier is a powerful device which, together with its KFX plastic fiber optics, is always most convincing when it is crucial to reliably detect in extremely confined spaces. All 27 KFX models are equipped with top-quality bending protection on the light exit side. This effectively prevents damage at the critical transition point.

Altogether, Leuze electronic offers a comprehensive amplifier program with numerous fiber optic cables made of glass fiber or plastic for high-precision object detection. Thanks to their diverse head shapes and very small bending radii, the highly-flexible fiber optic cables can be integrated into nearly every system design.
