Keil Supports Freescale Kinetis K50
The K50 Family is pin, peripheral and software-compatible with other Kinetis microcontrollers and provides designers with an Analog Measurement Engine consisting of integrated OpAMPs, TriAMPs and high-resolution ADC and DAC modules. The family also features IEEE® 1588 Ethernet and hardware encryption, full-speed USB 2.0 On-The-Go with device charger detect capability and a flexible low-power segment LCD controller with support for up to 320 segments. Devices start from 128KB of flash extending up to 512 KB flash.
MDK-ARM
The latest version of MDK-ARM includes set-up files, device-specific views, compilation features, and intrinsic instruction support for the Freescale Kinetis K50 MCUs that take advantage of the DSP and floating point capabilities of the ARM Cortex™-M4 processor.
Keil MDK-ARM features the industry-standard compiler from ARM, the Keil µVision®4 IDE/debugger, the full featured RTX RTOS, and sophisticated analysis tools. It is specifically optimized for single-chip, high performance devices such as the Kinetis Cortex-M4 family, and analysis tools as well as target debugging with advanced trace capabilities for all Cortex-M processor-based devices.
