PCB Introduces High-Temperature Accelerometer

PCB Piezotronics has announced the Model 357C90 high-temperature, hermetically sealed accelerometer for engine turbine testing during flight test or in ground-based test cells. Other applications include environmental chamber testing or exhaust system vibration measurements on rocket or automotive engines up to 1,200F (649C). The charge output unit features a high-temperature Inconel construction, sensitivity of 5pC/g, measuring range to 1,000G peak, frequency response of 2.5kHz, and resonant frequency of more than 14kHz.

The unit is supplied with an integral 10ft (3m) high-temperature connecting cable and can be mounted via a through-hole 1/4-28 thread bolt. Additional products are available from PCB to complete the measurement system, such as Airborne amplifier Model 422M201 or in-line charge amplifier Series 422E30, as well as a supporting range of Series 482 ICP power supplies.

Model 357C90 is backed by the Lifetime Warranty Plus provided on all stock and standard products sold by PCB. Under PCB's Lifetime Warranty Plus, if any stock or standard PCB product ever fails, PCB will repair, replace or exchange the product at no charge.
