DeltaV System Completes Host Profile Registration

Emerson Process Management's DeltaV digital automation system, with AMS Suite: Intelligent Device Manager has passed the Fieldbus Foundation's Host Profile Registration Process. This registration process tests to ensure robust interoperability and integration between different host systems and devices.

The Foundation's testing process benefits both automation suppliers and end users by providing consistency in the multi-vendor Foundation fieldbus environment. It conducts functional testing with a test device and specialised Device Descriptions (DDs) and Capabilities Files (CFs). The host profile must support this clear set of required features.
