Red Lion Controls New Current Transducers

Monitoring or controlling motors, heaters, or other power consuming electrical devices has never been easier. With Red Lion's New Non-Contact Current Transducers you can convert those high level current signals into simple 4 - 20 mA or 0 - 10 VDC process signals. These new sensors are available in solid core cases for new wiring, and split core cases to simply clamp over existing wiring. They are perfect for long cable runs and very cost effective. The model CTD is a DC current transducer combining a Hall Effect sensor and a signal conditioner in a single package. The CTD has jumper selectable input current ranges of 50A, 75A, and 100A and provides a self-powered 4-20 mA output. It is available in a split case model only. The model CTL average responding AC current transducers combine a current transformer and a signal conditioner in a single package. The CTL transducers are designed for use with “linear” or sinusoidal AC waveforms, and are best suited for constant speed loads

World's Smallest PLC - Aromat NAIS FP0

Aromat NAIS/Matsushita Electric Works established a new world standard "SLIM" PLC. Starting from 10 I/O to 32 I/O, the CPU is only 25(w) x 90(h) x 70(d)mm. This is about 1/4 the size of the traditional bulky PLC style called "Brick". The FP0 saves precious panel space and money. Relay output types have removable screw terminal blocks. Power supply connector is also quick disconnect. Easy installation specially when you duplicate many systems. Up to 16 loops of PID and auto tuning are built into this “SLIM” PLC. The FP0 uses floating point math for its PID calculation which is more accurate than an integer PID. With the new thermocouple input unit, the FP0 can easily and accurately control temperature while it’s controlling I/O. The PID values can be easy calculated by the built-in auto tuning feature. 16 Auto Tuning loops can run at same time.
